When you feel like you can’t get up in the morning due to tiredness, what do you do? When you get to work and feel that the day ahead is going to be a long and tiring one, what do you do? Drink some coffee? Drink an energy drink? This is usually the answer for many people but it shouldn’t be! There is a way to deal with your tiredness without using drugs or pills. There is a certain energy drink that is really popular with party goers as it goes well with most spirits but also because it keeps you awake all night. By being up all night you certainly feel it the next day when you are exhausted. But is it because you have been up all night, is it because you spent all evening taking stimulants or is it because you didn’t get the right quality of sleep? It can be hard to distinguish between them when you go out quite often but what about the days you don’t go out to party? DO you still feel tired? If you are asking yourself the question ” why am I always feeling tired?” then you need to get to the root cause and sort it! Without sleep your body doesn’t function properly and you can become ill. Your body doesn’t perform to its optimum which can mean your heart and your muscles not performing as they should. Your mind won’t be on its game either and you may feel clumsy, out of sorts and uncoordinated. All of these things can have a knock on affect in your every day life and you can start to feel really down. Your work life will suffer, your social life will suffer and before long you will be having to use those stimulants throughout the day too just to stay alert.

Finding the root cause of the lack of energy you feel every day isn’t as hard as you may imagine. There is usually one simple answer for it and that is to do with your quality of sleep. When you go to sleep, your body starts a cycle of sleep that goes from light sleep to deep sleep to REM sleep. If your body doesn’t go through this cycle then it can cause you to have less energy the next day. What you need to do is to make sure that this cycle is completed and then you will soon see that you will have more energy through the door. Don’t suffer with tiredness, do something about it and change your sleeping pattern so that you can get a quality nights sleep.
