The only way of finding the limits of the possible is by going beyond them into the impossible - Arthur C. Clarke
It is common knowledge that music and fashion are and will always be very closely related. Music stars have always been known for their characteristic and often outlandish styles of dress as their music. Take strong, globally renowned female artists like Bjork and Madonna for example. Both are incredible artists and performers to whom the visual aspect of their art is equally as important as their boundary pushing and era defining music.
The problem is, unless you are very handy with a sewing machine it is quite difficult for budding musicians to come up with an attention grabbing outfit that says ‘Look at me!’. Therefore, by far the easiest and most convenient way of expressing your individuality and creativity in a practical and effective way is to customize or accessorize your instrument!
There are so many products and so many ways that you can do this and set yourself apart from the thousands if not millions of other aspiring musicians out there. One such product that is extremely popular amongst female guitarists at the moment is the pink guitar strap.
They come in a massive assortment of varieties so there really is a style of pink guitar straps to suit the tastes of anyone and everyone.
If pink isn’t your thing then you could get a guitar strap in pretty much any other colour that you can think of and with almost any pattern!
If you’ve already got a pink guitar strap then how about getting yourself an assorted handful of brightly coloured guitar picks that you can choose from depending on what mood you are in? Match them with your nail varnish or lipstick for extra detail!
You could swap out the boring, standard, factory plastic control knobs on your guitar for skull ones, dice ones or even shiny chrome ones to dazzle your audience when you are rocking out under the spotlight.
Or how about swapping the plain pick guard out with one in your favourite colour or even a custom one with a picture printed on it?
There is a great deal of choice when it comes to jazzing up your guitar to match your onstage persona. Why don’t you have a go at experiment with some great guitar accessories!
