Upgrade Your Wardrobe to 2010

The color turquoise lies somewhere between blue and green, and is often known to represent water and evoke images of seascapes and tropical escapes.

Named after a gem that bears colors that range from sky blue to deep greenish blues, the color turquoise is used in many applications. Turquoise is known to have a calming, soothing effect. The color also creates a feminine appeal in lighter shades. Darker shades give a more sophisticated look. Hippie culture gained popularity during the 60s and many people raised their eyebrows on the kind lifestyle they are leading. Another thing that the people raised eyebrows on is their kind of clothing. Hippie clothes are what conservative people would call “scandalous”. Hippie clothes would usually include miniskirts, halter tops, bellbottoms and loose clothing and spaghetti strap tops. Well of course, during the sixties, social restrictions in dressing are really strict.

However, these days, people might not realize but the hippie clothes are back on style. Designers have incorporated the hippie culture in the clothes they make including the use of cotton and hemp as the kind of cloth that they use. Though hippie clothes are mostly incorporated on women’s clothes, vests for men are also back in style and surprisingly, they are popular in the hippie culture too.

The main principle in hippie clothing are basically lots of colors, looseness and sexiness in an unkempt way. So, just with these descriptions, we now have an idea of which clothes were from the hippie culture, right? Maxi dresses, and those loose umpire dresses are actually from the sixties. But that is not all, leather flat sandals and rompers are actually based on the hippie clothing.

This type of clothing used to raise eyebrows but now, everybody wants them because they look good, sexy and are very comfortable to wear. Many Hollywood actors are actually a fan. One prominent one is Nicole Richie. She is like the epitome of the modern hippie clothing. Casual wears, formal wears and even just the everyday clothes of Ms. Richie really includes a hippie factor.

Many others wear hippie inspired clothing, but though they do not know the real focus of the hippie lifestyle, it is still good that the hippie clothes are not forgotten by the people.

What To Wear With A White Linen Suit

A white linen suit is a great choice for summer wear but many men find it difficult to compose an outfit around it that they are comfortable with. For men who are unused to wearing a white suit it can be a daunting task. A linen suit too is seen as difficult by those unused to them. Together a white linen suit can cause wardrobe problems.

The simplest way to wear a white suit is white on white. A white suit over a white shirt works perfectly in both formal and casual situations and is ideal for hot weather. For formal situations the white suit is best worn with brown leather shoes and a matching brown leather belt. White shoes really are only for sports or casual wear. If wearing a tie it should be of subdued pattern and sober color. For casual wear the shirt can be replaced by a good white t-shirt.

All white can be sometimes too much and in particular for the fairer complexioned man. In this case he is probably best advised to contrast his white suit with a dark shirt. A black shirt is a little too much but a dark navy blue button down is ideal for casual wear. A pale blue with a red tie would make a nice contrast to a formal suit and is so conservative that it will make a whit suit seem a safe sensible choice in the most staid of offices.

For a more relaxed and casual look try mixing a white linen suit with casual clothes. The jacket can be worn over a pair of jeans for example. The pants of a white linen suit can be worn on their own in many situations. A bright shirt will cheer them up for the beach while a dark sweater creates a smart college look for the fall semester.

While men may be wary of something as bright as a white suit they should not be. It can be worn in many ways and adapted to many styles. Really, a white suit is a white canvas for a man to draw his personality on.

Many parents have a limited budget when it comes to buying baby items.  Unless you have pregnancy insurance coverage, having a baby is not cheap, although it is always more than worth it once you hold your new baby boy for the first time.  Having a baby boy is absolutely wonderful, no matter who you are or where you are from.

If you are one of many new parents looking for cute baby boy clothes on a limited budget, then you may want to consider buying the clothes you need second hand.  Buying baby boy clothes second hand is not hard at all.  There are Goodwill and discount second hand clothing stores in any city, large or small.  Also, check out your hometown newspaper classifieds as well as craigslist to find parents selling all kinds, styles, sizes and brand names of baby clothes.

Often you can find new or almost new newborn clothes for sale second hand, at only a fraction of the price that they would be new.  One practical tip to keep in mind when shopping for baby boy clothes is to buy not only newborn size clothes, but clothes in the 3 – 6 months range also.  First of all, you never know how big your newborn baby will be when born.  Doctors can give a pretty good estimate based on your ultrasound, but they can not tell you for sure the exact size or weight.  Also, newborn babies grow pretty fast.
